The Coeliac Society aims to enhance the quality of life of people requiring a gluten free diet for life and to encourage and support research towards a cure or other ethical forms of treatment. The Society provides information and support to those diagnosed with coeliac disease or another medical need for a gluten free diet.
Through membership of your state Coeliac Society, information is available about the gluten free diet, ingredients, where to buy gluten free food, recipes and cooking, eating out, overseas travel and research. Activities such as information seminars, cooking demonstrations, shopping tours, gluten free food expos and children’s events may be held. In various areas, volunteer contact people provide a local support network for members in their region.
