Researching coeliac disease
The encouragement and support of research to improve the diagnosis and management of coeliac disease is of great importance to those with coeliac disease. Of even greater importance is finding a cure so that a normal diet can be resumed and enjoyed.
Clincial Advisory Committee
The Coeliac Research Fund has appointed a Clinical Advisory Committee whose members are at the forefront of clinical practice in gastroenterology, immunology, pediatrics and dietetics. The Clincal Advisory Committee advises on best practice, issues medical positioning statements in relation to coeliac disease and assesses applications for financial support of research into coeliac disease. It is only by encouraging new research platforms that a difference can truly be made for those with the disease.
